MYSIA, Pergamum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Medallion (42mm, 44.02 g, 12h). Homonoia with Nicomedia. Julius Logismos, strategos. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Asklepios standing right, leaning on serpent-entwined staff, facing Demeter, standing left, holding poppy and torch on deck of quinquereme right with gubernator at stern. RPC VII.1 173.1 = Kampmann, Homonoia 101 (V57/R88) = Franke & Nollé Type I, 1628 (Vs C/R3); SNG France 2279-80. Near VF, brown surfaces, porous. Rare.
